How to apply for a scholarship:
In order to apply for a scholarship, please click on the link, then either go to our online application page OR download and print our 2018 application after Jan 1, 2018.
Please be sure to complete every section. Incomplete applications will be returned, which will delay the review process. Please be sure to include the following four (4) pages in your application:
1) The personal information page,
2) Your personal statement/leadership essay (one page max), and
3) A letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher, or mentor (one page max), and
4) The financial information page.
Important note for former scholarship recipients:
Assuming that each requirement stated in the above “How to Apply for a Scholarship” section is met, former recipients are eligible to receive a partial scholarship worth $495 to cover half of their 2018 Academy tuition.
The Foundation’s hope is that returning applicants will use the unique leadership training learned while at the Academy to fundraise to cover the balance of their tuition.
If you are a former scholarship recipient, please pay special attention to the “Personal Statement” section of the Foundation’s scholarship application.
Completed applications can be submitted by email (preferred) mail or fax to the following:
