 The Julie Foudy Leadership Foundation

 MISSION: Building on a foundation of sports and fitness, we empower girls and young women from all socioeconomic backgrounds to become leaders who positively impact their communities.

  • Due to the generous contributions from corporate sponsors and individual benefactors, the Foundation has funded more than 618 scholarships for young women to attend the Julie Foudy & espnW Sports Leadership Academy (the “JFSLA”). Since its inception in 2006, the Foundation has also nurtured a unique seed-funding grant program to support young women in their efforts to create and implement their own leadership service projects within their communities.

  • We invite you to get acquainted with our efforts and join us in facilitating leadership training for young women. Together we can continue to teach leadership lessons that strengthen our communities and continue to develop the women leaders of tomorrow — leaders on the field AND leaders in life!
